Restriction of Movement Order lifted
National Disaster Management Office Director Akapusi Tuifagalele

The National Disaster Management Office has confirmed that the Restriction of Movement Order for Fiji has been lifted.

Director Akapusi Tuifagalele confirmed this to Fijivillage at about 7.30 this morning.

We were checking the order from early this morning as Cyclone Zena started weakening late last night into early this morning.

Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho confirms that he has ordered the removal of the checkpoints after getting confirmation from the NDMO that the order has been lifted.

Meanwhile Tuifagalele confirms that all schools will be closed today.
