Sixty jobs have been created and 80 people were engaged in building the Resort Relax Fiji, in Nadi.

Speaking at the opening of the Resort last night, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama said this project is yet another vote of confidence in the tourism industry in Fiji.

Bainimarama said that people are taking advantage of his government’s multiple nationality policy, such as Johnny Lever, Bobby Khan and his wife Azreena who decided to engage in building the resort.

He added that Khan has another project in the pipeline, the Airport Plaza complex of commercial offices and retail stores.

Bainimarama said with such developments, jobs are created and the earning of the employees filter back into their communities and strengthen the general economic base for every Fijian.

He added that the resort has 17 duplex villas plus two additional presidential suites, conference facilities and other amenities for children and adults.
