Residents who are currently experiencing intermittent water supply are getting fed up with the constant water cuts and excuses by authorities on the reasons for this.
Concerned Wailoku resident Arthurleen Lilo said water is a need and the constant cuts which they have been experiencing for months is a real pain.
Delainavesi resident Maria Shackley said they have had water supply on and off for the past few weeks adding the intermittent water supply is a lot of hassle as it is still the school holidays and children need water.
Water Supply Spokesperson Maika Nagalu said the main reason for the cuts is the lack of inflow from the water sources which in turn affects the reservoir levels which is right now still low.
He reiterates people are to save whatever water they can during this dry spell, when they do have water supply and even rain water, when it does come adding during this month a lot of people are still celebrating New Year's by throwing water on each other and this must stop.
Wailoku residents still have no water since midday yesterday while Delainavesi residents still have no water since yesterday morning.
