Official of the proposed Social Democratic and Liberal Party, Doctor Tupeni Baba is calling on the Registrar of Political Parties to register them as a party.
Doctor Baba said the government should know that there should be political parties going into the 2014 elections.
Doctor Baba claims that the proposed SODELPA's margin of error is only 1.6 percent of the registered members.
Registrar of Political Parties, Mohammed Saneem confirmed that the proposed Fiji Labour Party had until midday today to explain alleged anomalies in it's application.
Saneem said he will not make any further comments and a statement will be released after analysing all the issues.
In an earlier statement, Saneem said in the case of the proposed SODELPA, the anomalies include members who are registered twice or even three times, members who are also listed as belonging to other proposed parties and names that do not exist in the National Register of Voters.
The Registrar said these anomalies were acknowledged by proposed SODELPA officials after they were granted access to the National Register.
He said the proposed NFP has acknowledged that some of its registered members also belong to other proposed political groups.
While they have denied allegations of impersonating government officials in Kadavu, Saneem said the proposed NFP accepts that 25 listed members have also registered either as members of the proposed SODELPA or the proposed Fiji Labour Party.
Meanwhile Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has already confirmed to Fijivillage that the Political Parties Decree will not be removed.
