Swire Shipping Fijian Drua utility back Selestino Ravutaumada has been voted the fijivillage Fan Player of the Match

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua utility back Selestino Ravutaumada has been voted the fijivillage Fan Player of the Match in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific round 15 clash between the Drua and the Reds last Saturday in Suva.

Ravutaumada collected 41 percent of the votes counted.

The 23-year-old was named to start at fullback and did not fail to impress scoring the first try in the 4th minute of the game after chasing down his own clearance kick from inside his own half and capitalising on a blunder by Reds’ winger Filipo Daugunu to score one of the best tries so far this season.

He ran a total of 53 metres in 7 carries and beat 4 defenders.

Ravutaumada and his Drua team mates will be looking to create another piece of history again this week by qualifying for the semi finals as they turn their focus to the their Super Rugby Pacific playoff clash against the Crusaders in Christchurch.

The Drua versus the Crusaders will kick off at 7.05pm Saturday.

In other quarter finals, the Blues will host the Waratahs at 7.35pm Friday, the Chiefs will take on the Reds at 4.35pm Saturday and the Brumbies will play the Hurricanes at 9.35pm Saturday.
