Fiji Water Flying Fijians coach Mick Byrne has spoken highly of young Swire Shipping Fijian Drua utility Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula’s ability to control territory with his kicking game.

Ravula has been starting at fullback for the Flying Fijians in their previous two games and did not fail to impress Byrne.

Byrne says they tried a few different things at training this week but he is quite liking Ravula’s kicking game.

He says in a humid and fast game against Japan, it might pay to be able to play a good territory game as well and Ravula will certainly bring that to the team from full-back.

Byrne will be naming his match day 23 squad to play Japan in the Asahi Pacific Nations Cup final tomorrow.

The Flying Fijians will take on Japan at 10.05pm this Saturday at the Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Osaka, Japan.
