Raksha Bandhan is a festival that anchors us to our roots and family values - Narayan

Raksha Bandhan is more than just a cultural tradition, it's a festival that anchors us to our roots and family values and emphasizes the significance of standing by each other, providing strength and fostering a sense of unity among siblings.

These are the words of Priyanshu Narayan who celebrated Raksha Bhandan with her 7 other sisters and 2 brothers at her home.

She says one of their brothers could not be present however, he was part of the celebration virtually.

Narayan says Raksha Bandhan holds a special place in her heart because it's a celebration of a bond between brothers and sisters, a day that brings them together, regardless of the physical distance or life's challenges and she loves how the festival symbolizes protection, love and mutual support between siblings.

Narayan encourages all brothers and sisters to celebrate the uniqueness of their connection, cherish their memories and this occasion to express their appreciation and promise to continue supporting and caring for each other in the years to come as this is not just a bond about tying a thread or exchanging gifts but about promising to be there for each other through thick and thin.

Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated by Hindu brothers and sisters tomorrow.
