The Interim Prime Minister insists that Ousted Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase and National Federation Party General Secretary, Pramod Rae are now trying to derail the interim government's efforts to return Fiji to true democracy.
Commodore Frank Bainimarama has also stressed today that the SDL, NFP and others who are opposing the People's Charter process cannot stop him from achieving a better Fiji for all.
However Qarase said the proposed Charter has no legal foundation and will bring about further racial polarization between the indigenous Fijians and Indo Fijians.
The Interim Prime Minister questions why an initiative to have a Fiji which has equal opportunities for all irrespective of race, color and religion is being opposed by Qarase.
He also reveals that work is well underway to have the election within the set timeline.
