SODELPA Leader and MP Aseri Radrodro was sworn-in as Minister for Education this morning by President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere at the State House.
Radrodro undertook the oath of allegiance and oath of due of execution of office, pledging his commitment as a Minister.
The ceremony was attended by his wife Sainiana Radrodro, and close family members.
It was a closed event and the media were not invited by State House.
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka who was not present at the swearing-in ceremony, said Radrodro was being given three months to step down and it ended on Monday 22nd April.
Radrodro was dismissed earlier this year from his Ministerial role as the Minister for Education by the Prime Minister for insubordination and disobedience to his directive.
Radrodro later presented a matanigasau or a traditional apology to Rabuka and while the Prime Minister accepted his apology he said he still disagreed with the request for his reinstatement as the Minister for Education.
