Swire Shipping Fijian Drua centre, Iosefo Masi says the 2023 Rugby World Cup in Paris has moulded him to become a better player and is looking forward to the 2024 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season.

Speaking in the i-Taukei language, Masi says the World Cup experience has given him the courage to work more harder and represent the Flying Fijians in the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia.

The Wairiki, Taveuni young man says he is preparing well for the upcoming season and he will try to lift his performance to fill in the big shoes left by Kalaveti Ravouvou who has secured a contract with the Bristol Bears.

Masi has been dubbed the “Slice Man” by commentators due to his capability of slicing through the defence that he displayed during the 2023 Super Rugby Pacific season.

His outstanding performance as well this season earned him a call-up to the Flying Fijians at the recent Rugby World Cup in Paris.

The Fijian Drua will start the 2024 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific Season campaign against the Blues on the 24th of February in Auckland.
