It is now highly likely that there won't be any meeting between Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama and Ousted Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase any time soon.
In an exclusive interview with Village News, Bainimarama said he has a feeling that Qarase just wants to get back into power by having meetings with him.
The Interim PM said Qarase and the SDL party should just wait for discussions on the People's Charter and try to move the country through the Charter.
Meanwhile Qarase said he is still hoping that Commodore Frank Bainimarama meets with him in the not too distant future.
Qarase hopes that the meeting takes place sooner rather than later as every step should be taken to ensure that Commodore Bainimarama meets the commitment to have the elections by March 2009.
Meanwhile Qarase said the SDL Party is now setting up strategies for its campaigns for the next elections. He said he is ready to lead the party to yet another successful election come 2009.
