Ilisoni Tagivetaua with his son, Waisale Tagivetaua of QVS

Ilisoni Tagivetaua was lost for words as he witnessed his son win his second gold medal in the Junior Boys 800 metres at the 2022 Coca-Cola Games.

Ilisoni is the father of Queen Victoria School’s Waisale Tagivetaua, who won two gold medals at the Fiji Finals.

Waisale won another gold in the Junior Boys 1,500 metres.

He says he is proud of Waisale’s achievement and dedicated his win to the supporters of QVS.
