The Fiji Roads Authority says only some sections along Sawani Road will be closed to traffic.

Meanwhile, the Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure lies over Fiji and is gradually moving eastwards, which is associated with clouds and showers.

They say the trough of low pressure is expected to affect the eastern parts of Fiji till later today.

They add localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas.

Drivers are being urged to drive carefully along Kings Road as there is flooding at the Vesida traffic light.
