The inclusion of United States-based Preeya Singh into the Digicel Fiji Kulas side for the OFC Olympics Qualifier will be a big boost to their campaign.

The team have landed in Apia, Samoa and coach Angeline Chua says they are happy to have Preeya Singh joining the team.

Singh made her debut for the Fijian U19 side during the OFC Women’s U19 Championship in Suva last year and the 19-year-old was impressive with her speed and skills.

Meanwhile, the Kulas will want to go one better this time after losing to NZ in the final of the 2020 Olympic qualifier in New Caledonia.

The Kulas are in Group A with Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and American Samoa, while Group B includes 2020 Summer Olympic Games representative New Zealand, Tonga, hosts Samoa and Vanuatu.

Fiji takes on American Samoa on Wednesday at 1pm, PNG on Saturday at 4pm and Solomon Islands next Tuesday at 12pm.
