Police are trying to identify a man who died in a road accident last night.
The man is alleged to have suddenly crossed the road when he was hit by a vehicle driven by a man in his 40s who was heading towards Ba.
According to Police, the victim is a Fijian of Indian Descent, believed to be between 50-60 years of age and is slim built.
Anyone who can help identify the victim is requested to call the Divisional Traffic Officer West on 9905 674.
The road death toll currently stands at 52 compared to 47 for the same period last year.
