Police try to contact family of crash victims

Police are trying to contact the next of kin of the 3 people died in a horrific road accident in Waiyavi, Lautoka at about 4am this morning.

Director Traffic, SSP Mahesh Mishra has confirmed that another 3 are admitted at the Lautoka hospital while one has been treated and sent home.

Seven people were travelling in a 3 tonne truck from Nadi to Lautoka when the driver lost control in Waiyavi and the truck went off the road before colliding with a tree.
