A 30-year-old man is the country’s latest road fatality victim following a vehicle accident in Martintar, Nadi in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Police say the accident occurred along Queens Road in Martintar after 1am.
The man allegedly suddenly crossed the road when he was hit by a vehicle driven by a 32-year-old man.
He was rushed to the Nadi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigations into the accident continue.
