Police seize more than 160 plants believed to be marijuana in Cakaudrove

Police have seized more than 160 plants believed to be marijuana from a farm at Nabuloko Settlement in Cakaudrove in the Northern Division.

Officers from the Tukavesi Police Station arrested a 32-year-old farmer during the raid.

Two arrests were also made in Savusavu.

A market vendor was arrested in Savusavu Town by an officer on patrol.

The officer found a plastic containing bullets of dried leaves believed to be marijuana.

Another farmer was also found with dried leaves believed to be marijuana during a search on a bus. They both remain in custody.
