Police receives generator worth of $170,000

The Fiji Police Force has today received a backup generator worth $170,000.

While speaking at the handing over ceremony, Deputy Police Commissioner Itendra Nair says the new generator will be based at the Police Special Response Unit which is their strategic location for their contingency command.

Nair also thanked the UNDP for working with New Zealand in identifying immediate needs to strength the capabilities and capacity of their specialised units.
