Police look for woman who allegedly collected over $50,000

Police are now investigating complaints about a woman who allegedly misled fifteen people from a prominent church in Naveiwakau, Valelevu.

The woman had allegedly said that her husband owned a shopping mall in New York and California and that under her arrangements they would not require a visa to go to America.

She had allegedly collected more than $50,000 from these individuals.

Eight out of these fifteen people had recently retired.

Police confirm that there are four separate complaints against her at the Valelevu Police station.

The woman is now on the run.
