Police are investigating the death of an 8-year-old boy after he was found lying motionless near a flower garden at a hotel in Nadi.
Police say a staff nurse from the Nadi Hospital rang and reported the death of the child on the 9th of February.
Initial information gathered is that the child was allegedly electrocuted however, a post-mortem will be conducted to confirm the cause of death.
The boy was of New Zealand nationality but lived in Sydney and was holidaying in Fiji with his family.
