Police are expected to conduct searches in certain areas for the 13 firearms which have been missing since the 2000 coup as more people are expected to be taken in for questioning soon.
Police Commissioner Commodore Esala Teleni has revealed that they now have some leads which could assist in the recovery of the missing firearms after police questioned six men last week.
Commodore Teleni stresses it has been eight years since the firearms went missing, but the police will not let the matter rest.
Six men were taken into custody on Wednesday night and released on Friday afternoon after being questioned in relation to the missing firearms.
