Police dominates first day of Sukuna Bowl Tournament in netball and volleyball competitions

Police have dominated the first day of the 2023 Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl Tournament which kicked off with the netball and volleyball competitions that was held at the Netball centre in Suva today.

Police won 5 games of the two competitions to Army's 3 wins.

In the netball competitions, Police 2 beat Army 2 24-23 in the Service Women's 2 category, Army 1 beat Police 1 48-46 in the Service Women's 1 category and Army wives beat Police wives.

In the volleyball competitions, Police took out the Women's Service 1 category, Army won the Women's Service 2 category, Police won the Wives category and Police won both the Men's Service 1 and Service 2 competitions.

The second day of the Sukuna Bowl Tournament will continue tomorrow with the cricket competition starting at 8.30am at Albert Park and the touch rugby competition will also be at 8.30am at the Nasova Police Grounds.

The Boxing competition will be at 12.30pm at the Fiji Police Academy.
