Police have completed their investigation into the horrific fatal road accident that resulted in the death of two people in Kalokolevu near Naboro on the Queens Highway last Thursday.
The two men in a private car passed away in the accident after sustaining serious injuries.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the deaths will be registered as it is alleged the accident resulted from the victim's failure to stop at the junction which resulted in the unfortunate accident.
Eyewitnesses had told us that the private car was coming out of a driveway onto the highway when it collided with a truck.
The road death toll currently stands at 54 compared to 61 for the same period last year.
