Police are continuing investigations in relation to the e-mail being circulated to tourism operators and members of the public.
The e-mail which allegedly originated from a Nadi pastor has caused a lot of concern and Police have confirmed that they have also brought in the pastor for questioning.
Assistant Police Spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the pastor has been released for now but they are still interrogating Fiji Rugby Union Chairman and former Fiji Visitors Bureau Chief Executive, Viliame Gavoka.
Police say the e-mails being sent around is to cause fear and instability and it is against the Public Order Act and the Public Emergency Regulation.
Police are yet to confirm on whether other people will be taken in for questioning.
