Police have classified the case of the man whose body was found in a burnt vehicle at Marine Drive in Lautoka earlier this week as murder.
It has been confirmed that the victim is 42-year-old Salesh Chand of Lautoka and was employed at Vinod Patel and Company Limited.
Chief of Intelligence and Investigations ACP Luke Navela said a team of investigators in Lautoka are currently following some leads as investigations continue.
Meanwhile, the vehicle belonged to Vinod Patel and Company Limited.
Members of the public are requested to call Crime Stoppers on 919 if you have any information that could assist in the investigation.
