Pineapple and watermelon business helps Donu to run her father’s business

27-year-old Talei Donu who has been selling pineapples and watermelons at the Suva Market, has taken over her father’s business to support her family.

Donu who lives in Qauia, Lami says her father started the business 20 years ago with just one stall at the market and now it has expanded to 7 stalls owned by them.

Donu says she is running her father’s business as her father has gone to Australia for a visit.

The 27-year-old says the minimum amount she earns in a week is $7,000.

She encourages everyone to work hard to earn more.
