Pearls thrashes Norfolk Island 98-16 to finish top of their pool

The Fiji Pearls side have secured another victory in their final pool match after beating Norfolk Island 98-16 this afternoon.

The win has seen them finish on top of their pool with 6 points.

The team led throughout the game from the 1st to the last quarter and denied their opponent any chance to find their feet in the game.

Fiji will now feature in the semi final which will kick off at 11.30am Friday.

Meanwhile, the Fiji hockey side also secured wins in the Men’s and Women’s categories today.

The Fiji Men’s side defeated Vanuatu 3-1 and the Women’s side thrashed Tonga 8-2.

In the Va’a competition, the Fiji Men’s and Women’s side have booked their places in the 1500 metres final after finishing first and second in the semi final respectively.
