Athletes participating at the Coca-Cola Tailevu Zone have been urged to ensure their discipline is up to par during the two-day event.

While officiating at the opening ceremony, Suva Retailers Association President, Jitesh Patel says if athletes are disciplined in life, they will achieve great things.

625 athletes from seven schools are participating at the Tailevu Zone.

RKS is the defending champion for the boys division, and Tailevu North College is the girls defending champion.

The Tailevu Zone starts this hour with the 1,500 metres event at the HFC Bank Stadium.
