Parliamentary committee begins nationwide consultations on FDB reports

The Parliamentary Committee on Economic Affairs has begun nationwide consultations as part of its review of the Fiji Development Bank's 2022 and 2023 reports.

The Committee have started its consultations in Suva today and is expected to gather views directly from FDB loan recipients to inform its recommendations.

Committee chairman, Sakiusa Tubuna says the consultations will provide a valuable opportunity for those assisted through FDB to share their experiences.

He says the discussions will focus on the processes and procedures of the FDB, with recipients encouraged to raise any concerns or challenges they have faced.

Tubuna says the committee will meet loan recipients in Naitasiri, Tailevu, Rakiraki, Tavua, Ba, Lautoka, Nadi and Sigatoka before heading to the Northern Division on Thursday and Friday this week.
