PM pays tribute to the late Pope Benedict XVI

Prime Minister and the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sitiveni Rabuka has expressed his deepest condolences on the passing away of Pope Benedict XVI.

In a condolence letter conveyed to Pope Francis, Rabuka says it is with profound sadness that, he conveys his deepest sympathies for the passing of Pope Benedict XVI.

Rabuka says the thoughts and prayers of all the people of Fiji are with Pope Francis and the Holy See during this difficult time as we remember his profound ministry and legacy.

The PM adds may his soul rest in peace and his life be an inspiration to all of us.
