Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has called on civil servants to serve the people and ensure that they are carrying out their necessary responsibilities according to the posts that they hold.
Commodore Bainimarama said he wants quick action based on what the people need and he said he knows that things will not progress if necessary assistance is not provided towards agriculture farming, renewal of land leases, infrastructure development, health and education.
The Prime Minister said it comes down to the civil servants doing their job.
Commodore Bainimarama raised concern about the fees and charges of the Native Land Trust Board and the Land Transport Authority after visiting the Northern Division last week.
He said changes are expected soon.
