Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama said the Public Emergency Regulation could be lifted early next month.
When questioned on whether a date has been set to lift the regulation, Commodore Bainimarama said that the military council will make the decision on whether the regulation should stay on.
Meanwhile there is no need to worry about the safety and security of the nation.
Those are the words of Commodore Bainimarama who has hit out at the national television station and some media outlets for fabricating stories about the military.
Bainimarama said it is totally irresponsible for people to suggest that things would change when he leaves for New York.
Commodore Bainimarama flew out to New York to attend the UN General Assembly last night and will return to the country on October 5th.
