ODPP staff pay their final respects to Ratu David as his funeral cortege stops at building

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions farewelled Acting DPP, the late Ratu David-George Toganivalu where the staff gathered outside the ODPP Headquarters in Suva this afternoon to pay their final respects as the funeral cortege stopped over for a brief moment before proceeding to Taro, Bau.

The Office says the late Ratu David, during his term made a great impact in the lives of the ODPP staff.

They say he displayed great leadership and believed in equal opportunities for all.

The Office says his untimely death is a tragic loss to his family, friends, staff and colleagues and he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

They say the ODPP the staff stands in solidarity with the late Ratu David Toganivalu’s family in this difficult time.

The funeral service to honour and remember the late Ratu David Toganivalu will be held tomorrow at 10am at the Taro Methodist Church.
