It has been a long time coming for the Denver Nuggets taking them 46 seasons to reach the Grand Final of the NBA after they overcame the Los Angeles Lakers 113-111 in game 4 of the Western Conference Final today.

This is the most seasons before a Finals appearance in NBA history.

Nikola Jokiç led the Nuggets well scoring 30 points with 14 rebounds and 13 assists.

Lakers’ LeBron James was determined to avoid being swept for the first time in a playoff series before the NBA Finals as he tried everything he could, including scoring 40 points, yet it was not enough to stop the Nuggets from reaching their first-ever NBA Finals.

With the game tied at 111, Jokic snapped the tie with a driving layup with 51 seconds remaining.

Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat will be at 12.30pm tomorrow.
