No rest for Chiefs despite their bye week

No rest for Chiefs despite their bye week

The Chiefs will not take a rest this week, even though this is their bye week, as they will be looking into their first loss of the 2020 Super Rugby season by the Brumbies last week.

Chiefs coach Warren Gatland had broken the season down, and a win back home was all that remained on the agenda.

The Chiefs had conjured come-from-behind wins against the Blues and Crusaders and even conceded the first try against the Sunwolves, but they were 19-0 down at halftime against the Brumbies side.

Gatland says that there is no doubt they need to address the issue as they did not start well as they wanted to.

He adds they will be looking at their preparation in terms of warm-ups, substitutions or if they need to be more pumped up in the changing rooms.

Gatland further says they will need to be better than what they were doing when they come back next week against the Waratahs.
