The ruling on the application for no case to answer for Bala will be delivered by Magistrate, Rangajeeva Wimalasena in Lautoka today.
Bala's lawyer filed the no case to answer submission earlier this month.
Bala is charged with dangerous driving occasioning death.
A 48‑year‑old man was crossing the road in Teidamu, Lautoka when he was allegedly hit by a vehicle driven by Bala in November, 2013.
The man was taken to the hospital but died three hours later.
