No automatic progression policy in education system - Manumanunitoga
General Secretary of the Fijian Teachers Association Paula Manumanunitoga

The automatic progression for students in the education system is not a policy.

This has been highlighted by the General Secretary of the Fijian Teachers Association, Paula Manumanunitoga who stated that he heard from the Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro, and his team that no such policy exists.

Manumanunitoga says when they attended the consultation on the No Repeat Policy, the handout contained factual details about what is included in the Education Policy.

Manumanunitoga also says they had received reports from schools that there are non-readers in secondary schools and there are readers who lack comprehension as well.

We have sent questions to Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro.
