Police confirm that no arrests have been made yet in relation to Suva Women’s Football player, Vane Lolo Tukania, who passed away following a hit-and-run incident along Ratu Dovi Road in Nadera on Saturday.

They say investigations are continuing.

Tukania was the daughter of former national and Labasa football star, Tevita Tukania.

Fiji Football Association President, Rajesh Patel, together with the board and the entire football fraternity, have expressed their deepest condolences and are mourning the heartbreaking loss of the young talent.

Vane had represented Fiji at the Under-17 level and was regarded as a promising future star in women’s football.
