New Zealand Prime Minister, John Key has said there is no resolution in sight at the moment in relation to the interim government's threat to expel the Acting NZ High Commissioner, Caroline McDonald.
Key said the travel sanction policy against Fiji will remain in place and there is no agreement on any changes.
The New Zealand government has not received anything official as yet on the possible expulsion of Caroline McDonald.
John Key has made it clear to the NZ media that there are no plans to voluntarily call McDonald home at this stage.
While a senior interim government official confirmed to Fijivillage News that McDonald would be informed about her expulsion from Fiji today, the Key led government is now playing a wait and see game.
Meanwhile the Australian High Commissioner to Fiji is mum on the current impasse between Fiji and New Zealand.
James Batley said at the moment there has been no official decision made on the matter and its best to wait for the outcome.
