Navua to take on defending champions Labasa in BOG final

Navua are through to the final of the Rooster Chicken/Scoops Ice Cream BOG after 18 years as they beat Suva 1-0 at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Brian Charitar scored the lone goal for Navua in the second half.

Navua coach Saiyad Ali says this win is all the more special for them as they beat Suva on their home ground for the first time since coming back into the premier division.

He says the players stuck to the game plan, let Suva attack and waited for their opportunity.

Ali says despite beating them 1-0 in a Digicel Fiji Premier League match, defending champions, Labasa cannot be underestimated as they have beaten current DFPL and Fiji FACT champions, Lautoka.

Navua takes on Labasa at 4pm at the HFC Bank Stadium today.
