Natabua’s Mereoni Kuru and Mosese Bobi win gold in senior girl’s and boy’s 200 metres

Natabua’s Mereoni Kuru and Mosese Bobi win gold in senior girl’s and boy’s 200 metres

Mereoni Kuru of Natabua High School has added the senior girl’s 200 metres gold to her 100 metres title that she won yesterday in the Coca-Cola Lautoka Athletics Zone.

Kuru won the 200 metres race with a time of 28.08 seconds.

Ana Tukere of Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute finished second while Sera Raikavou of Yasawa North Secondary School finished third.

In the senior boy’s 200 metres, Mosese Bobi of Natabua got the gold with a time of 22.75 seconds while his teammate, Samuela Navoce got silver. Tilak High School’s Aminiasi Titoko settled for bronze.

In the girl’s division Jasper Williams High School leads with 17 gold, 19 silver and 10 bronze, Natabua is second with 11 gold, 6 silver and 7 bronze while Central College is third with 5 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze.

Natabua is leading the boy’s division with 30 gold, 22 silver and 4 bronze, Saith Thomas High School is second with 3 gold and 4 silver and 8 bronze while Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute is third with 2 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze.
