The Naitasiri Men’s rugby team is determined to lift their performance as they prepare to face a strong Tailevu side in the Skipper Cup semi final this Saturday.

Team manager Penaia Naqase informed fijivillage Sports that players have been reminded of the importance of discipline, especially when the pressure is on.

Naqase says they have shown moments of brilliance throughout the competition, but maintaining composure under pressure has been a recurring challenge.

He highlighted the need for calm decision-making, teamwork and focus to ensure they stay in control throughout the full 80 minutes.

Naqase adds that it is all about sticking to their game plan, controlling their emotions, and playing smart rugby.

Naitasiri will face Tailevu at 3pm on Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium.

In another semifinal, Malolo will play Nadi at 1pm at the same venue.

For the Marama Cup Championship semi finals, Nasinu will face Namosi at 9am, while Suva will meet Kadavu at 11am.

Both matches will also be held at the HFC Bank Stadium.
