Fijiana Sevens captain Rusila Nagasau aims to finish her impressive rugby sevens career with a world title this weekend.

The 35-year-old has an Olympic Games bronze medal and a Commonwealth Games silver medal.

Nagasau says that after the 7s World Cup, she will try the 15s code and setting her focus for the Women's Rugby World Cup in New Zealand, which starts next month, before hanging up her boots.

The Fijiana 7s team will play its first game against Japan at 11.17 tonight.

The winner will advance to play either South Africa or France in the quarter-finals at 7.05am Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team will begin their campaign in the Round of 16 against the winner of Wales and Korea match at 4.05am tomorrow.

If Fiji wins, they will qualify for the quarter-finals where they will likely meet either USA or Samoa. If they lose, they will no longer have a chance to contest for the Melrose Cup.
