NZ govt supports medical team in Kadavu by facilitating essential helicopter flights

The New Zealand Government is supporting the Fijian team deployed in Kadavu by facilitating essential helicopter flights for patient transfer and supply runs.

This morning a first pre-hospital flight, Mercy 1 delivered a cargo load of medical equipment for FEMAT and pre-hospital emergency care teams to reinforce their operations on the ground.

Mercy 1 is also evacuating two COVID-19 patients to Suva for medical care.
