NFP Leader sues Taniguchi and FBC over certain comments made by Taniguchi

National Federation Party leader Professor Biman Prasad and former NFP provisional candidate Hiroshi Taniguchi

National Federation Party leader Professor Biman Prasad has sued former NFP provisional candidate, Hiroshi Taniguchi and the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation over certain comments made by Taniguchi after his proposed candidacy was terminated by NFP.

NFP says both Taniguchi and FBC have been served a writ of summons filed by AK Lawyers of Nadi and issued out of the Lautoka Registry of the High Court.

NFP adds no further comments will be made on the matter while proceedings are pending.
