National Federation Party Leader, Professor Biman Prasad

National Federation Party Leader, Professor Biman Prasad is calling on Fijians to look out for each other as many citizens are reeling from the devastating impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In his Christmas message, Prasad says it has not been an easy year but it is to the nation's ultimate credit that our people, even under the strain of hardship and suffering, can still smile.

Prasad is calling on people to look out for each other and enlarge their circles, boil drinking water, drive safely, be aware of movements of our young family members, maintain the health advisories and enjoy responsibly.

He says great difficulties have to be met and managed with overwhelming courage.

Prasad adds times like these brings out the best of our efforts, our energies and skills and in true Fijian spirit, we unite and bind together to help our fellow Fijians in need.

He says now there is an abundance of goodwill, generosity and unity that gives the true meaning to the spirit of Christmas.

The NFP Leader says we know that Fiji can never be free from disasters, political conflicts and pain but Christmas draws our attention to all that is good and hopeful.
