The National Fire Authority and Police are currently conducting a joint investigation into the 3 cases of home fires that were reported yesterday in Nadi and Lautoka.

They say the first report was received from Dravuni Street in Lautoka, where two Government quarters were destroyed in a fire at around 1am yesterday.

The cost of damage is yet to be ascertained.

They say the second case was reported at Navakai in Nadi at around 7pm where a three-bedroom home belonging to a 45-year-old man was destroyed in a fire.

The house was vacant during the incident and the cause of the fire is yet to be established.

Investigations continue.
