A meeting of the National Council for Building a Better Fiji will be convened tomorrow where draft proposals on the electoral reforms are expected to be tabled for endorsement.
Head of the NCBBF Technical and Support Secretariat John Samy confirmed to Fijivillage news that the NCBBF has accelerated its mandate to change the electoral system in Fiji and various proposals are expected to be endorsed by the council over the next two days.
Samy said the NCBBF will then conduct another round of consultations on the draft proposals which will then be tabled at the proposed political Forum to be facilitated by the UN and Commonwealth Secretariat on the electoral reforms.
Meanwhile, Samy adds that over 1000 village's have been consulted on the People's Charter process and the NCBBF members will also be briefed on the work being carried out on the ground.
The meeting starts 10am tomorrow at the Nasova Police Academy.
