Murray sets sight on more Super Rugby Pacific games in 2025

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua flanker and former Fiji Under 20 captain Motikiai Murray is eager to get more game time in next season’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season after an injury that required surgery ruled him out for the remainder of the games this season.

Murray says his recovery is coming along well and he has been following all the training programmes provided for him which is helping in his quick recovery.

The former Ratu Kadavulevu School student says he is looking forward to getting back on the field and hopes to get more Super Rugby Pacific games next season for the Drua.

The 21-year-old made his Super Rugby Pacific debut in round 13 of the competition in 2023 against the Crusaders.

When asked what is his thoughts on having Joe Tamani back in the Fijian Drua squad, Murray says Tamani brings with him a lot of experience which the young players can learn from.

Meanwhile, the Fijian Drua players have started their off-season training at 3 different centres which include Suva, Sigatoka and Nadi.
